Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice who will interact directly with customers and build strong patient relationships.

The program emphasizes earning while learning and preparing to become a PTCB certified technician through Walgreens’ apprenticeship. As part of the role, you will support the pharmacist, handle prescription processing, and contribute to a positive customer experience while gaining hands-on experience in Walgreens pharmacy operations

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior Walgreens experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).
• PTCB certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cash registers.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Register all sales and handle cash, guiding customers to OTC products when appropriate.
