Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the heart of patient care, assisting pharmacists, processing prescriptions, and helping customers with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

The program offers hands-on training and certification support, enabling growth toward PTCB credentials while delivering a high-quality pharmacy experience for our customers in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and handle prescription processing.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and assist with cash registers.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy operations.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and Good Faith Dispensing standards.
