Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the forefront of patient care, supporting pharmacists and engaging customers.

The role includes learning through Walgreens’ accredited technician training program to pursue PTCB certification while delivering accurate prescriptions and outstanding service. You will develop strong patient relationships, operate pharmacy systems, and participate in inventory and cashier duties as required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking; flexible schedule willingness.
• Prefer six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
• PTCB certification is preferred or pursued through Walgreens training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Enter patient data accurately, handle cash and assist customers with OTC needs.
• Maintain patient relationships and deliver a distinctive Walgreens customer experience.
