Job summary

Walgreens Co. is hiring Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to engage with customers and develop patient relationships. The program offers an earn-while-you-learn approach, with training to attain PTCB certification and growth within pharmacy care.

You will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and support operations, while delivering an outstanding customer experience and maintaining accuracy in dispensing.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for dispensing and accurate counting/measurements.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with store inventory control.
• PTCB certification or active eligibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Deliver a distinctive, customer-focused experience and build relationships with patients.
• Support inventory management, cash handling, and clerical tasks as needed.
• Assist in clinical services and coordinate with providers when required.
• Adhere to all policies and promote a safe, compliant work environment.
