Qualifikationen

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Good math skills and computer skills; knowledge of store inventory control.

Aufgaben

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision and in accordance with policy.
• Enter patient and drug information using pharmacy systems; assist with cashiers in the operation of the pharmacy cash registers.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring medications; verify medicine accuracy and check for interactions.
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining workflow under pharmacist supervision.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follow quality processes.
• Register sales on cash registers and assist customers in locating OTC products.
• Assist with inventory management: ordering, unpacking, inspecting, and storing pharmaceuticals; handle overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
