Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescriptions.
• Good computer skills for pharmacy systems.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Assist under pharmacist supervision with entering patient and drug information in pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy and managing workflow.
• Handle cash register duties and assist customers to locate OTC items.
• Process manual claims for third-party prescriptions and perform related clerical tasks.
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, ordering, and reporting shortages or overages.
• Support clinical services including collection and labeling where required.
• Develop relationships with local medical community and health providers.
• Participate in training and ongoing education to maintain PTCB certification.
