Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Greenville, AL to join our patient-centric pharmacy team. You will interact with customers, support pharmacists, and help deliver accurate prescriptions with care.

Our program offers hands-on training, ASHP and Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship, and a path toward PTCB certification. You’ll gain practical experience while earning as you learn in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred and helpful.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy operations as needed.
• Deliver a positive and distinctive customer experience.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
