Job summary

The program aims to certify you as a PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician, with ongoing guidance, coursework, and on-the-job experiences to advance your career in pharmacy care.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; assist with operation of pharmacy systems and cash registers if PTCB certified.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
