Job summary

Walgreens is transforming its pharmacy technician roles into patient-centric positions. You will interact with customers, support pharmacists, and contribute to clinical services while gaining hands-on experience in a modern pharmacy setting.

The Walgreens Pharmacy Technician Training Program is an ASHP/DOL recognized apprenticeship that helps you progress toward PTCB certification and a portable credential, with a strong emphasis on learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Experience in retail is a plus.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and using pharmacy systems.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Handle cash transactions and customer guidance at the OTC area.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering and receiving shipments.
• Support pharmacy staff in coordinating clinical services and provider outreach.
