Job summary

Walgreens is transforming its pharmacy technician roles to be more patient-centered. As a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice, you will engage customers, build patient relationships, and gain hands-on experience through the ASHP/DoL recognized training program. The program supports becoming a PTCB-certified technician and advancing within Walgreens.

The position offers on-the-job training, exposure to store operations, and opportunities to develop in a technology-enabled pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing prescriptions and other pharmacy duties.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and assist with clerical duties as assigned.
