Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for counting and measuring medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients, greeting them and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist in pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision, including entering patient and drug information and assisting with prescriptions.
• Process and resubmit prescriptions, coordinate with pharmacists, and support workflow and inventory management.
• Register sales at the cash register and assist customers to locate products.
• Handle calls not requiring pharmacist attention and support clerical duties as needed.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Support clinical services coordination and outreach to healthcare providers.
• Maintain good relationships with local medical community and ensure department is stocked and orderly.
