Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and enter patient and drug information.
• Process prescriptions and verify accuracy; assist with scheduling and workflow.
• Register sales on the cash register and handle cash; guide customers to OTC aisles.
• Handle phone inquiries related to prescriptions and coordinate with healthcare providers as needed.
• Support inventory management: ordering, unpacking, storing, and stock checks.
• Maintain pharmacy area clean, stocked, and compliant with policies.
