Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the front lines, building strong patient relationships and supporting pharmacy operations with the latest technology. The role emphasizes patient-centric service beyond a transactional environment.

Through Walgreens’ ASHP & Department of Labor–recognized apprenticeship, you can work toward PTCE certification while earning and gaining clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment; prior Walgreens experience preferred; PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist pharmacy team by entering patient and drug information and dispensing prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle cash and direct customers to OTC aisle; process third-party claims; assist with inventory.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and quality improvement programs.
