Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Evansville, IN to support pharmacists, process prescriptions, and deliver a patient-centric experience. Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer computer skills and store inventory knowledge.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients, greet them, and assist with products and services.
• Enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy, and check interactions.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Support clinical services coordination and coordinate with health providers as required.
