Job summary

Walgreens is hiring Pharmacy Technician roles in Florida to support a patient-centered approach. You may join as a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice, gaining hands-on experience and training toward PTCB certification.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Six months of retail experience preferred.
Prefer PTCB certification.
Prefer good math and computer skills.
Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy tasks and duties according to policy.
Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with third-party claims as needed.
Maintain accurate dispensing practices and verify medicine accuracy and potential interactions.
Deliver courteous customer service and build patient relationships.
Assist with cash handling, OTC guidance, and inventory management.
