Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Florida who will be at the core of patient care, supporting pharmacists and building strong patient relationships. You will use the latest technology to assist with prescriptions, billing, and customer service, while learning and growing in a patient-centered environment.

The program offers training and pathways toward certification, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience and credibility in pharmacy

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math and computer skills; knowledge of store inventory control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Assist with third-party claims and clerical duties in the Pharmacy Department.
• Support inventory management and ensure store shelves and supplies are stocked.
