Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a patient-centered team in Chicago.

You’ll interact with customers, support pharmacists, and build strong patient relationships as the core of our pharmacy business. We offer an ASHP- and Department of Labor–recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program with an earn-while-you-learn approach, guiding you toward PTCB certification and expanding your clinical and operational skills in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist under supervision in practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with third party claims.
• Provide a positive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy operations.
