The program includes an earn-while-you-learn Pharmacy Technician Training Program recognized by ASHP & Department of Labor, guiding you toward PTCB certification and ongoing professional development within Walgreens.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
• Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Good computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist in inventory management: ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Register related sales on the cash register and help customers locate OTC products.
• Support clinical services coordination with pharmacy staff and providers.
