Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice who will be front and center, assisting customers and building strong patient relationships while contributing to a patient-centered care model.

Walgreens offers an earn-while-you-learning Pharmacy Technician Training Program recognized by ASHP & Department of Labor to guide you toward PTCB certification and a portable credential for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties, following policy and procedures.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and support cashiers in pharmacy operations.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience and engage with patients to build relationships.
• Support inventory management: ordering, unpacking, storing, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies.
• Assist in coordinating clinical services and pharmacy-related activities as needed by the pharmacist.
