The Pharmacy Technician Apprentice path provides hands-on learning, mentorship, and the chance to pursue PTCB certification while working toward becoming a certified pharmacy technician and delivering high-quality care to our patients and customers.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
• Good math and computer skills helpful for accurate prescription filling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and entering patient data.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the store cash register.
• Provide excellent customer service and build patient relationships.
• Support inventory management, ordering, stocking and maintaining supplies.
• Participate in training to achieve PTCB certification and career growth.
