Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior experience with Walgreens is a plus.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in performing pharmacy duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy and interactions.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
• Provide a high-quality, delightful customer experience.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
• Support coordination of clinical services and pharmacy workflow.
