Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the forefront of patient care, interacting with customers and building strong relationships. The program offers an earn-while-you-learn path and prepares you for PTCB certification.

You will work under supervision, using pharmacy systems, assisting with prescriptions, and supporting the Pharmacy team to ensure accuracy and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and patient care activities.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Maintain inventory, restock shelves, and help with cash register transactions.
• Deliver a positive and delightful customer experience to patients and customers.
• Support clerical duties and coordination of clinical services as needed.
