Job summary

As a technician or apprentice, you will assist pharmacists, engage customers, and use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions while building strong patient relationships.

The program leads toward PTCB certification and long-term growth in pharmacy care, supported by Walgreens’ comprehensive resources and recent technology investments.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience preferred or understudied customer service background.
• PTCB certification or plan to obtain certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and processing prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications.
• Support inventory management and maintain the pharmacy area organized.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
