Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centered pharmacy team. You will work closely with customers, support pharmacists, and learn through our Earn While You Learn Apprenticeship Program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor.

You will gain hands-on experience with pharmacy systems, contribute to accurate dispensing, assist with inventory, and help deliver a distinctive Walgreens service experience while working under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and pharmacy tasks.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and pricing at the pharmacy.
• Handle cash transactions and guide customers to OTC products.
• Assist with clinical services and coordination with health providers.
