Qualifications

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
Prefer good computer skills.
Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, and process prescriptions.
Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications.
Assist in inventory management, ordering, unpacking and stocking pharmaceuticals.
Operate cash register and handle customer transactions professionally.
Support pharmacy team in maintaining a clean, orderly work area and compliance with policies.
