Job summary

Walgreens is transforming its pharmacy technician roles toward a patient-centric model, offering an earned-while-you-learn apprenticeship and training toward PTCB certification. In this role, you’ll assist the pharmacist, handle prescriptions, and help customers while building strong patient relationships.

The program guides you toward becoming a certified technician with ongoing development and opportunities within Walgreens’ pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in prescription handling and pharmacy duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and help with cash registers as needed.
• Maintain patient and drug information accuracy and support pharmacy workflow.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience and build patient relationships.
• Assist with inventory, administrative tasks, and coordination of clinical services as required.
