Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centric pharmacy team in North Carolina. You will interact with customers, assist the pharmacist under supervision, and help build strong patient relationships while delivering accurate prescriptions and friendly service.

Training is provided through an ASHP and Department of Labor recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program, with pathway toward PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instruction and pharmacy policies.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Provide customer service and support to patients and customers for a positive experience.
• Support inventory management and cash handling activities as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and quality standards.
