Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy Inc. in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM full-time role behind the scenes in a closed-door facility serving individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs.

You'll fill and prepare prescriptions, operate automated packaging, enter prescription data, and coordinate with care teams. A strong attention to detail, reliability, and comfort with new technology are essential for success in this team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacy technician registration in the state of employment, or ability to obtain before your first day.
• National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT), or willingness to become certified shortly after hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work the posted schedule, including rotating Saturdays.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Fill and prepare prescriptions.
• Operate our automated med-cup packaging system.
• Enter and maintain accurate prescription information.
• Communicate with clients and care teams by phone.
• Work alongside pharmacists and other technicians to keep medications accurate and on time.

Looking for a pharmacy technician role outside of traditional retail? At Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy, our technicians work behind the scenes as part of a close-knit team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

The Day-to-Day

• Fill and prepare prescriptions
• Operate our automated med-cup packaging system
• Enter and maintain accurate prescription information
• Communicate with clients and care teams by phone
• Work alongside pharmacists and other technicians to keep medications accurate and on time
