Job summary

Wegmans Woodbridge is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our customer-focused team in Woodbridge, VA. You will verify prescriptions, input data, and dispense medications while delivering compassionate service to patients.

Qualified candidates must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and Virginia Board of Pharmacy certified, with strong computer and math skills to maintain accurate records and handle insurance claims efficiently.

Qualifications

• Certified pharmacy technician is required.
• Advanced computer skills needed for data entry and prescription processing.
• Proficient in basic math to support accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Verify and input prescription information, process prescription requests and dispense medication.
• Build trusted relationships with customers by demonstrating patience, empathy and compassion.
• Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and address issues to achieve the best outcome for patients.
• Maintaining appropriate inventory levels through proper ordering and rotating drugs and other supplies.
• Properly handle products and equipment, and maintain accurate logs.
