Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to verify and input prescriptions, assist customers, and ensure accuracy in dispensing medications. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and efficient handling of insurance claims and inventory.

• Build trusted relationships with customers by demonstrating patience, empathy and compassion
• Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and address issues to achieve the best outcome for patients
• Maintaining appropriate inventory levels through proper ordering and rotating drugs and other supplies
• Properly handle products and equipment, and maintain accurate logs
