Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Wheaton, IL is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join a collaborative clinic-based pharmacy team. You will provide exceptional customer service, fill prescription orders under supervision, manage inventory, and support the pharmacy under federal and state regulations.

Day-to-day duties include processing orders, maintaining accurate data in the system, and assisting the Pharmacist with routine pharmacy functions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an onsite setting.
• Active and unrestricted Illinois Pharmacy Technician license.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm CST with lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm CST

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician working in an onsite setting
• 1+ years of prescription data entry experience Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Illinois
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
• Ability to use your own car to get money orders when needed and make deliveries if needed

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
