Genoa Healthcare is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through dispensing prescriptions and essential clerical tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Location: 111 N County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187. Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm CST with 1-hour lunch. Requires 1+ year of onsite Pharmacy Technician experience and active IL license. Competitive benefits and pay range offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an onsite setting.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription orders and verify under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Fills prescriptions and ensures accuracy in data entry.
• Manage pharmacy supplies and stock, including ordering and receiving.
• Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacists and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Handle clerical duties related to the department.

We seek aPharmacy Technicianto support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Location: 111 N County Farm Road, Suite 101, Wheaton, IL 60187

Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm CST with lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm CST

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician working in an onsite setting
• 1+ years ofprescription data entry experience Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Illinois
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
• Ability to use your own car to get money orders when needed and make deliveries if needed

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
