Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients. The role supports pharmacists and pharmacy staff in processing prescription requests received electronically, in person and by phone.

A strong candidate will have a Pharmacy Technician Certification and prefer hospital pharmacy experience. Requirements include at least a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process orders for prescription requests received electronically, in person and via the telephone.
• Work collaboratively with staff to resolve client issues and concerns regarding pharmacy issues.

Duties Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician works closely with the Pharmacist and the Pharmacy staff and is responsible for accurate processing of prescription requests received electronically, in person and via the telephone.

• Accurately process orders for prescription food and medication.
• Work collaboratively with staff to effectively resolve client issues and concerns regarding pharmacy issues.
