MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, seeks a quality Pharmacy Technician for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients in Massachusetts. You will process prescription requests accurately and collaborate with pharmacists and staff to address pharmacy-related issues.

Requirements include a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and Pharmacy Technician Certification; hospital pharmacy experience and PC skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification is required.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience and PC proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process prescription requests received electronically, in person and via the telephone.
• Work collaboratively with staff to resolve pharmacy issues for clients.

Duties Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician works closely with the Pharmacist and the Pharmacy staff and is responsible for accurate processing of prescription requests received electronically, in person and via the telephone.

• Accurately process orders for prescription food and medication.
• Work collaboratively with staff to effectively resolve client issues and concerns regarding pharmacy issues.
