Avenue360 Health and Wellness seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in daily operations, including processing prescriptions, inventory management, and customer service. This role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care.
Ideal candidates will have a GED or higher, Texas licensure as a Pharmacy Technician, PTCB certification, and strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a team-driven environment.

This position is directly accountable for the following key areas:
Process prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner, including entering prescription information into the pharmacy’s computer system, counting and packaging medications, and labeling prescriptions with patient information.
Follow federal and state laws, professional standards, and ethical principles. Additionally, maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhere to infection-control protocols, and ensure medications are handled correctly to prevent errors.
Manage inventory levels of medications, ordering medications as necessary and ensuring that inventory is properly rotated and stored.
Provide excellent customer service to patients,
Participate in quality assurance activities to enhance pharmacy operations.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician license
PTCB Certification
