Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and safety regulations per health code guidelines and programs.
• Understand ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Follow guidelines on computerized inventory management and ordering of medications, devices, supplements and supplies.
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas.
• Count, measure and prepare specified product using best practices.
• Complete billing procedures to ensure best value to customer and company.
• Answer phone and triage calls and inquiries as appropriate.
• Adhere to vendor coupon guidelines and shrink control.
• Operate cash register and process payments (credit/debit, EBT, gift cards).
• Provide a stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Assist pharmacists in responsibilities not requiring professional judgement.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a calm, cooperative manner.

• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement
• Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the company's policies regarding the same
• Support company health and wellness initiatives
