Cardinal Health proudly provides pharmacy services to PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Winter Garden, enhancing post-acute care. We are currently hiring for a full-time Pharmacy Technician II, Health Systems Pharmacy to work Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30pm.

The role supports the Pharmacist in daily operations and ensures accurate order fulfillment. The position requires Florida licensure, hospital experience, and strong communication skills, with focus on safety, compliance, and team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License required.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Inpatient/hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• IV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist as needed, per state rules.
• Take inventory, place orders, stock shelves, and remove expired items.
• Maintain a safe, compliant pharmacy environment and records.
• Input patient data and orders into the pharmacy system.
• Fill, label, and deliver medications; refill Pyxis after verification.
• Prepare sterile IV mixtures as required and communicate with staff.
• Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and company guidelines.

Health System Pharmacy is responsible for providing customized pharmacy program solutions that reduce costs and improve patient care quality for hospitals, health systems and other integrated healthcare providers may also consult with and advise healthcare team on prescribed medications, supplies and related processes. ***Job Summary***Cardinal Health proudly provides pharmacy services to PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Winter Garden, enhancing their dedication to exceptional post-acute care. We are currently hiring for a full time pharmacy technician to work **Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30pm.** The Technician II, Health Systems Pharmacy supports the Pharmacist in the daily operations of the pharmacy. Key responsibilities include managing the automatic dispensing cabinet (Pyxis)/patient specific bin items, conducting inventory checks, processing product returns, removing expired medications, prepacking medications as necessary, purchasing medications based on pharmacy needs and inventory costs, and returning any recalled items. The Technician II, Health Systems Pharmacy ensures that all orders are reviewed by a registered pharmacist and records all activity in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
