Job summary

Elderwood at Cheektowaga is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Nursing Department and coordinate with Woodmark Pharmacy. The role involves non-clinical duties related to filling and preparing prescriptions for distribution.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with pharmacy terminology through coursework or comparable experience.

• Pharmacy Technician certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in filling prescriptions and preparing them for distribution.
• May assist the pharmacy driving team with delivery of medications within Elderwood facilities.
• Support the Nursing Department in coordinating and distributing pharmaceuticals dispensed by Woodmark Pharmacy.
