Job summary

Elderwood is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Nursing Department and coordinate pharmaceutical distribution through Woodmark Pharmacy. This non-clinical role focuses on filling prescriptions and ensuring accurate preparation for distribution within Elderwood facilities.

The ideal candidate will have prior pharmacy technician experience, a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with pharmacy terminology through certificate course or comparable experience in a Pharmacy work setting preferred
• Minimum of 18 years of age required
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred
• Employment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individuals

Responsibilities

• Assist in filling prescriptions and preparing them for distribution
• Assist the pharmacy driving team with delivery of medication within Elderwood facilities

Pharmacy Technician team members are primarily responsible for providing assistance in filling prescriptions and preparing them for distribution. This role may also assist the pharmacy driving team with delivery of medication within Elderwood facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience as a pharmacy technician, and a clean driving record. Pharmacy Technician certification is a plus!
