Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position

Desired Qualifications:

  • Any previous comparable experience
  • Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk
  • EPRN familiarity

Responsibilities include:

  • Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management
  • Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers
  • Manage inventory and control of medications, devices, supplements, and supplies according to company guidelines
  • Maintain departmental standards including cleanliness and organization
  • Count, measure, and prepare specified product using best practices
  • Complete billing procedures accurately to ensure value to the customer and the company
  • Assist customers and answer inquiries professionally
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient information
  • Support health and wellness initiatives
  • Handle legend orders and deliveries
  • Work cooperatively in high-paced environments and manage conflicts professionally
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
  • Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through direct interaction
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
