Job summary

Rome Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing and delivering medications. The candidate should be flexible, a team player, and capable of learning pharmacy software.

Typical responsibilities include inventory maintenance, ensuring clean and stocked dispensing areas, and monitoring stock levels, temperatures, and expirations across units, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Assist with appropriate inventory levels and procurement of medications required to provide safe patient care.
• Monitor inventory for outdated products on a monthly basis.
• Perform inspections on units to ensure adequate stock and dated products are available for use.
• Monitor temperatures and outdates of all MDVs on units.
• Monitor kits and ensure cartfill completed timely and accurately.

Job description

Rome Health is currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in the preparation and delivery of medications. Technicians

Departmental hours are M-F 7:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday 7:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional deviations from departmental hours may be required under special circumstances in order to deliver necessary pharmaceutical services(i.e. Scheduled downtimes/upgrades). Hours may vary. Will be required to work weekends/holidays/nights/on-call shifts.
