Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist licensed pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining patient profiles, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include counting, labeling, stocking medications, processing prescriptions and insurance claims, and maintaining a clean, compliant department under HIPAA policies. Strong math, reading and customer service skills are essential, with attention to detail and product knowledge.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy-related experience and appropriate certification/license preferred.

• Notify management of supply needs
• Receive and process prescriptions and refills
• Prepare medications by counting, labeling, and packaging
• Maintain customer profiles and insurance documentation
• Operate cash register and handle transactions

• Follow all legal, HIPAA, and safety policies
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

Role Overview: Provides assistance to licensed pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining patient profiles, and delivering excellent customer service. Ensures a clean, well-stocked department and complies with legal and HIPAA policies. Supports tasks delegated by pharmacists, including inventory management and product knowledge.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform bending and twisting. Work environment includes varied temperatures and possible outdoor conditions, with low to moderate noise levels.
