Job Description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Pharmacy Technicians in Nevada! This role is work from home and all equipment is provided. Please note you must reside within Nevada for consideration. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type : 9-month contract, with opportunity to extend or full-time offer

Schedule : 8-hour shift between 5am and Midnight

Pay : $20.00 to $21.05 an hour

  • Training for the first four weeks is Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. This training time is subject to change.
  • Shift after training is an 8-hour shift with one-half or an hour lunch. Candidate must be available as early as 5am and as late as midnight.
  • Candidate will work 5 days a week which may or may not include a weekend day(s).

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician :

  • Navigate across multiple computer systems to identify information needed for outbound calls to members / providers.
  • Make outgoing calls as needed to provide information on prior authorization case outcomes, follow-up or consultation such as prior authorization requirements, appeals, etc.
  • Educate members / guardians, providers, pharmacy staff on procedures to avoid compliance risk.
  • Meet departmental established performance expectations and work independently to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Process member prior authorizations through various computer systems, ensuring the accuracy of all data and updating as necessary.
  • Take incoming calls from members or providers and apply benefit plan criteria in making decisions (approvals / denials) or recommendations; clarify and explain pharmaceutical benefits and procedures.
  • Partner with others to gather additional information and/or interpret clinical guidelines; act as a resource for others.

Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician :

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Nevada Pharmacy Technician license
  • National CPhT license preferred
  • Must reside within Nevada

Pay Details : $20.00 to $21.05 per hour
