Job summary

Lakeview Center seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support community pharmacy operations, including computer entry and inventory control. You will assist patients dropping off or picking up prescriptions and file prescriptions and reports as needed.

The role requires active Florida Pharmacy Technician registration and a High School diploma or GED, with background screenings as part of the hiring process. Salary is hourly and the schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Qualifications

• Currently registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Florida.
• Ability to pass organization screening, including background checks.

Overview

The Pharmacy Technician will demonstrate complete familiarity with community pharmacy operations including computer applications and inventory control. Help patients who are dropping off or picking up prescription orders. Complete Pharmacy filing (prescriptions, reports, etc.).Enter prescription orders into the computer. Create and update patient's health and insurance information in the computer.

Salary range for this position is $17.50 - $18.75 per hour. Work hours will be Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Role Requirements:

• Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with State of Florida.
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal backgroundscreenings as appropriate.
