Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under a registered pharmacist's supervision.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a lunch break, located at 404 W Aero Dr., Payson, AZ 85541. Ideal candidates hold AZ Pharmacy Technician licenses and may have National Certification.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in AZ.
• Preferably National Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinics.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Maintain professional written and verbal communications.
• Other duties as assigned.

We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm with lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Location: 404 W Aero Dr. Payson, AZ 85541

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona or an active Trainee Technician License in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid US Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
