Engelhard Medical Center Pharmacy, a part of Ocracoke Health Center, Inc., is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our busy, mission-driven pharmacy in Engelhard, NC. The role involves greeting patients, processing prescriptions, and helping maintain an organized workflow.

The position offers flexible full- or part-time hours; you will use pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and compassionate service to our coastal community.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support Patients: Greet and assist patients in person and on the phone with warmth and professionalism.
• Process Prescriptions: Enter data, prepare medications, and label/package with care and accuracy.
• Stay Organized: Keep supplies stocked, manage files, and help maintain a smooth workflow.
• Be Tech-Savvy: Use pharmacy software to handle prescriptions and insurance claims.
• Pitch In: Collaborate with your team and take on other duties as needed.

With locations in Ocracoke, Manteo, and Engelhard, we offer primary care, behavioral health, pediatrics, in-house pharmacies, and support for migrant and seasonal farmworkers. Location:

Engelhard, NC
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:00pm

Pay:

$15–$17/hour
