Mercy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications. The technician is accountable to the supervising pharmacist and must comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications include a High School Diploma, active registration or willingness to apply by day one, and about one year of pharmacy experience preferred. Orientation will be provided as part of the onboarding process.
The Pharmacy Technician I assists pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications and are accountable to the supervising pharmacist who is legally responsible for the care and safety of the patients served by the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician I follows applicable standards and federal, state & local laws and regulations for the care and safety of the customers and patients served.
