Helen Newberry Joy Hospital in Newberry, Michigan is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our mission-minded health system. You will support pharmacists in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services and ensuring accurate dispensing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience preferred but not required - we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
• We will pay for your Pharmacy Technician license/certification and all related training materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services to patients and customers. Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Dispense and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist
• Perform inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking
• Utilize pharmacy computer systems for prescription processing, patient profiles, and billing
• Prepare intravenous (IV) admixtures and other compounded sterile/non-sterile preparations, including chemotherapy (as trained and authorized)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist
