Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Mesa, Arizona to process and fill prescription orders, assist with inventory, and support pharmacists in patient care. The role includes occasional patient outreach and ensuring stocked workstations.

As aPharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for retrieving medication from stock, counting and packaging orders for pharmacist review, maintaining workstations with adequate supplies, removing outdated products from shelves, assisting with inventory replenishment, and maintaining par levels of pre-packaged auxiliary items. Occasionally you may be asked to reach out to patients for customer service calls as well as making inquiries on orders shipped.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted State NHA PhT license
• Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
