Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Full-time Pharmacy Technician at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Missouri. The role emphasizes patient care in an outpatient environment with comprehensive benefits and a stable employee status.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, a PTCB certification or formal US military/pharmacy program, and current BLS certification to support critical care when needed.

Qualifications

• License or PTCB certification required or equivalent military/pharmacy program completion.
• At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Maintain BLS certification (AHA Course C) or Red Cross CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
• Fill outpatient prescriptions, refills, and enter orders into databases.
• Provide information consultations, support prescriptions, monitor drug interactions, report adverse reactions.
• Perform quality improvement duties including drug storage inspection, expired supplies review, and workload/report documentation.
• Carry out supply process duties including placing new orders and stocking/restocking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
• Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
• Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician’s requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
• Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation.
• Perform supply process duties including placing new orders stocking/restocking

Your Qualifications:

• Educational Excellence: State license or certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Completion of a formal pharmacy technician program (i.e., technical, hospital, or retail-based program) or a formal medical services training program of the United States Military.
• Experience: Bring at least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience to the team.
• Life Support: Maintain BLS certification to ensure you\'re always ready to provide essential care. The HCW must maintain current certification in either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) (Course C) or the American Red Cross CPR/BLS Course.
